Truck Wizard Fleet Services was built by diesel mechanics, for the people who depend on diesel. Since 1999, we've been the Detroit metro's go-to shop for heavy commercial repair.
Our Story
Built in Detroit. Built for Detroit.
Truck Wizard started in 1999 in a two-bay shop on the east side of Detroit. Founder Ray Kowalski had spent 12 years as a fleet mechanic for one of the region's largest freight carriers before going out on his own with a simple promise: honest work, fast turnaround, and no surprises on the invoice.
Word spread fast. Within three years, we had outgrown that first shop and moved into our current facility — a fully equipped 18-bay service center with the diagnostic tools, parts inventory, and certified technicians to handle anything from a single owner-operator's rig to a 200-truck fleet.
Today, Truck Wizard serves hundreds of fleet operators across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Monroe counties. We've grown, but the promise hasn't changed: your truck gets fixed right, the first time, as fast as humanly possible.
